The Marble Gold Motor Group is owned by commercial property development pioneers Mr Mike Nkuna (Masingita group of companies) and Mr Seabelo Theledi (Ntwese Developments) who bought the company from Imperial Holdings in 2004. The group became the first 100% black owned motor dealer group in the Volkswagen South Africa group dealer network.

With a staff complement of over 130, the group plays a major part in providing a sustainable livelihood to many families. The business identifies, appoints and trains talents across various disciplines ranging from artisans, sales and finance.
